IDOT DBE Outreach Event-April 3, 2014
The Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) announced a second DBE outreach event for the Illiana Corridor, featuring presentations from the four Illinois proposal team finalists.

Opportunities for Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs) and other firms interested in opportunities to work on the Illinois portion of the Illiana Corridor, the event is expected to attract attendees from Illinois DBEs, small businesses and other industry firms looking to team with contractors for work on the Illiana Corridor. The event will be a unique opportunity for DBEs to meet with proposal team members and IDOT study team to learn about design and construction opportunities, as well as learn about certification and eligibility.

IDOT, INDOT, & The Indiana Finance Authority (IFA) Host DBE and Industry Outreach Event Following the release of the RFQs, IDOT and INDOT/IFA hosted an Outreach Event for Illinois and Indiana Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE) and other industry firms interested in bidding on work for the project. The event was held December 4, 2013 at the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Center in Joliet.
Partnering for Progress: Transportation Financing through Public-Private Partnerships showcased the proposed Illiana Corridor project, explored creative approaches to project development, and sought early input from attendees on design and cost-saving ideas.
The two day event also provided one-on-one meeting opportunities with the project team, an exhibit area and networking reception.
Illinois Department of Transportation and Indiana Department of Transportation discussed best practices for P3 in both states as well as ideas on the Illiana Expressway.
